I finally got around to trying to find a job. I went online, JobsCentral, did a short but simple resume- I mean come one, I'm a 19 year old with not much time to work, just filling time, no experience whatsoever, what am I gonna say??- and looked through the stuff they came up with. Lots of fluff I didn't care for and I shortlisted...

~ some sort of passenger service thingy at the airport terminals which would last two and a half weeks, from 12 pm to 11 pm. sounded pretty fun, getting to meet people.
~ some make-up sales person (well, i do have my diploma..)
~ Louis Vuitton temp sales person LOL.
~ FightWorksAsia sales force person (a perk is like you get to train there for free. damn.)

I wasn't really expecting much from this really, I was prepared to go out to PP gramophone and Daniel Yan at Marina to find work, but then...

Albert from FightWorksAsia emailed back asking me to come down for an interview this saturday at 4pm!

Holy shit. I'm personally really shocked. But really, if my parents let me go for this and let me work, I'd love to do this. I mean, I don't know the pay, apparently its commision based, no apparent fixed working hours and the perk of getting to finally learn Muay Thai? Geez. The experience too no doubt. I'd love this.

I hope hope hope my parents approve. I really want this suddenly. It's either this or the airport job. Which would be pretty awesome too.

*whines* I wanna be a Cat too.Oh wow. It was just such a spectacle and it is so amazing and the singing and most of all the dancing. So much amazingness. I wish I coul have videoed it all so I can watch it again and angain and again and again and again. Oh my goodness it was so damned good. I so don't regret splurging on those seats. Mr Mistoffelees and The RUM-Tum-Tugger were absolutely awesome, they stole the show for me. They're both such performers. And good god the female Cats are gorgeously sexy. GUH. I loved Demeter and Bombalurina. OMG they're just all so amazingg... Guh Guh GUH.

It makes me miss dancing so fucking much. I want so badly to be able to dance like that again, to feel a choreo and do it day-in, day-out and feel all my hard work pay off when there's that adrenaline rush and exciement of performing on stage and just knowing that I'm performing and doing something I love. God I miss it so much. I never realized how fulfilling dancing and performing was to me. Jee. I like anything that allows me to move. I WANT TO DANCEEEEEE. I WANT TO BE A CATTT....

I have had a slight falling out with Heroes because I absolutely cannot stand Matt Parkman's character and Peter Petrelli's spinelessness. Good god they annoy me fucking much I completely ignored the first bit of this week's episode of Heroes. Only Sylar and Noah Bennett saved it for me. Srsly. Sylar you do not fraternise with Danko! I forbid you!! And don't play with the stuffed rabbit. I am sad to see it. But ILU Sylar. MMMMMM.

Harper's Island was really, really good. So nice to see many familiar faces! I missed this version of Christopher Gorham so so so so much. Why didn't they make a continuation of Medical Investigation? Nonetheless. UNF. I missed him like this. Other than the gorgeousness that is him, there's also Victor Webster who is Henry's love rival and I couldn't be happier. UNF. Hello Supernatural peeps! Nice to see you again! And lots of faces I recognize but I can't quite place where. Yes I watch too much TV.

Oh dear god. I adore Paul Rudd. He is so damn cute and funny and just gah. I cannot wait to watch I Love You, Man.

Q: Your character may not be gay, but he's certainly in touch with his feminine side.

A: One of the things that I absolutely loved about this movie is that the guys that Jason Segel and I play are like the guys that I know and I hang out with. We're not alpha males, not really even beta males, we're epsilon males. It's like Brave New World . How many times do you hear an Aldous Huxley reference in an interview? So the idea of a guy who would drink wine and maybe talk about Real Simple Magazine is not so unlike the kind of guy I am. For instance, I personally TiVo Antiques Roadshow even though I'm a heterosexual man. I'm not afraid to show my emotions. Jason Segel is not afraid to show his emotions. These characters can talk to each other. I loved that. I loved that it wasn't any kind of generalization.

Q: After you and Jason's character bond, you spend some quality time in what he calls a "man cave" full of CDs, DVDs and a state-of the art sound system. Did it make you want one?

A: It's a place for guys to escape and there's something very appealing about it. When you're a kid you could find that place in your bedroom with the door closed and preferably locked. But when you get married, it's just not the same. You long for a man cave where you can feel like a 10-year-old again.

Q: It's hard to find a comedy these days without a throw-up scene, but if MTV had a "Best Vomit" award, you'd probably win hands down.

A: After reading the script, I said, 'I just ask one thing. I really want to throw up on Jon Favreau's character. I'd like it to be projectile vomiting.' I thought it would be funny to see actual throw up because whenever you see it in a movie, you can always tell that someone is like spitting soup out of their mouth. I was ready to have a big meal and reach for the Ipecac. But we ended up CGI'ing it.

Q: You had a few good moves in your fencing scene.

A: I actually had fenced before this film. In fact, the guy who oversaw the fencing on this film was my teacher 20 years ago. Just kidding about that, but I have seen most of Errol Flynn's movies. That's where I came up with 'On guard that.'

Q: The consensus is that you and Jason and the rest of the cast made up a lot of outrageous jokes in every scene. Did you ever wonder if you were going too far?

A: I was just hoping that John Hamburg, the director, who I trust implicitly, would find the right tone because I could have looked like an insane person with the amount of stuff we were throwing out. Actually, it was funny to watch the movie and see some lines that I don't even remember saying.

Q: What's the secret to not cracking up while you're filming something hilarious?

A: I've always prided myself on keeping my composure while acting. But I couldn't stop laughing on this movie. I ruined not just takes, but entire reels of film. But I kept remembering my goal in life - if I can just make one person smile.

Q: So will this movie make men more comfortable about exposing their vulnerability?

A: I think a lot of the guys that I know are OK with it. This whole thing of just the macho kind of locker talk -- my whole life I've never had that kind of testosterone-y energy. I don't mix well with that. Guys like that always wanted to beat me up when I was younger. Testosterone-y, by the way is a great pizza. They make it with this sausage -- 'Testosterone-y, the San Francisco treat.'

I love that he wants to make people laugh. That is such a brilliant commitment in life. And projectile vomit eh Mr Rudd? Oh dear. But srs. A dude who can talk about BNW in an interview, admits he runis reels of film, admits to being beaten up as a kid and testosterone-y?

Groovy. Paul Rudd is I think one guy to look out for.

!! And Wolverine looks tacky, but I will watch it for all the alpha-male grunting. Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Taylor Kitsch and !Ryan Reynolds. Heh. Yep.

Because it's still too hot and I cannot get to sleep. GUH. And I'm supposed to be up early tomorrow morning for costume hunting. Not that that's not fun, but you know, just the idea of getting out of bedd.

So anyway, I was randomly looking through news articles on one Adam Lambert, and there was one article, accompanied by fiery and fierce comment arguments, about who's better. Adam or Cookie?

Wow. Seriously, some people can be really, really mean. I mean yes yes, internet, freedom of speech blablablabla, but there's a line between good argument and just plain old dissing. And that's the sort of stuff that gets people angry and upset. Srsly, people need proper ettiquette when discussing such topics.

Anyway, I figured I would like to give my own view on this big old hoo-haa on Adam and Cookie.

First of all, I want to say that, yeah, I was rooting for Cookie the whole way in AI season 7 and I was really impressed and excited by his performances. He blew me away with his sort of originality and his ability to sing different genres and turn them into his own. BUT. I was so majorly let down by his album. It was just so. UGH. Just kinda dull really, like any run in the mill pop-rock singer. Kinda like Daughtry, except I must say Daughtr pulled out better songs. Cookie just flopped when it came to his album for me personally. I feel cheated of my money. None of the songs in the album were anything like his version of Always Be My Baby or Billie Jean or Music Of The Night. I loved those, I honestly did, but there was nothing like it in his album, which I feel is a complete waste of Cookie's abilities. I really liked him, but he just sort of faded.

And Cookie is well. Cute and all, but just sort of boring. He had that X-factor/uniqueness when he performed, but he sort of lacked that spark off stage. At least, I feel that personally. He was pretty normal, pretty boring for me. Like, I liked Blake Lewis from season 6, because he had that little kick in him. He had a ton of attitude and persoanlity and his album may not be what I usually listen to, but it was true to what he did on Idol. I do still listen to his album lol.

I am not going to take away the fact that Cookie dearest is good. He is good in his own way. It's like people say, he's sort of like Bono. Sort of predictable, you know their sound once you've heard it once. But good, solid and consistent.

But Adam is also good (in fact in my eyes, he's bloody brilliant) in his own way. Cookie= Bono. Adam= Freddie Mercury. Or Elvis. Or my dearest Mika. Srsly. Adam is himself, he's versatile, has amazing vocals, looks gorgeous and has his own personality which really, really stands out. He knows who and what he is and he really is different. He acts like a diva when he performs, but is such a sweetheart when he's off stage. Queer, to majority of USA, but I say heck that. He's got the 'it' factor. He mixes up songs, does the unexpected and you know its him, but he always is able to surprise you.

For me, David was good, definitely and I still acknowledge it, but Adam is my Idol. He epitomizes what I believe in, and I love him.

And some people are shallow and desperate enough to say that us Adam fans are only liking him because of his looks. That is just too much. A lot of us Lambert fans also happen to be Cookie fans, so I think Cook fans should just stop the Adam dissing. Adam is talented, David is talented. They are both their own artists during AI, and for each season, they are my top picks.

But sorry David, your album kinda let me down. Adam takes my cake. It may be too early to say, but I think that Adam will go on to record an album that I will definitely listen to. His pre-idol sound is sort of like Britney Spears' Blackout, which I adore and I think is her best work ever, though some of the songs on Circus are pretty damn good too. So yeah, I think Adam will go on to be someone I'll listen eagerly to. Oh like Lady Gaga too! I like her.

Adam is OTT, flamboyant, has eye!sexx a lot and is made of SIN. He has dope! vocals and has charisma, stage presence, intellegence and talent to boot, and I love him.

Now why aren't people comparing Cookie and Gokey eh?

I finally finished my makeup course, so I'm both happy and sad.

Dhasha's going back to school, which makes me very sad, but girl I want you to know I am rooting for you the whole way!

Oh god wow. Right now I'm on a Martial Arts kick. So I'd have to say either MMA or Muay Thai. I would really really love to be able to tell someone, yeah, I'm a professional fighter. And man the bod that would come with that.

Or cheerleading or gymanstics. Srs. People don't realize the athleticism these sports require. Some cheerleaders/gymnasts/dancers could whoop a lot of other athlete's asses.

It seems in this season's Arsenal's Next Top Model, classic black bomber jackets seem to be all the rage! We first see 21 year old Barcelona native, Cesc Fabregas, donning a (finally!) well-fitted set of clothes, including a simple black bomber over a hooded top.

I am pointedly not going to comment on the spitting incident, because it was just a bunch of bull's pizzle.

and he totally shows off the garment, by putting the hood up at one point of time!

and then, next seen in a bomber jacket, is the gorgeous, albeit seemingly camera-shy Robin van Persie. Girl, Tyra would be proud of you working that gorgeous neck! Work it baby!

Well my mam snubbed me from talking about my uni apllication on sunday and I'm feeling bitchy so i'm holding it against her till i dont know when. and hey she was beyond eager to discuss my asshole of a brother's ntu-nie apllication, but when i say uni- she says don't talk about it until you've gone to the open house! ugh.

anyway. i'm torn between sports science, linguistics and multilingual studies and comm studies. hmmmm. there's like pors and cons to all three, and i'm in a relatiovely good mood now, so i'm not going to overthink things right now. i will talk baout them soon someday. lol. and maybe i'll apply for European Studies in FASS. And try for the AVA scholarship for Vet Science. Hmmm. I don't know. ANd obviously NTU-NIE as well.

Fuck it all. First off.

Arsenal 4-0 Cardiff City

I feel like such an arse for snorting in disbelief when punters guessed Arsenal to win 2-0. I really feel so horrible for not having faith in my babies. They really performed today, it was magnificent. TEARS IN MAI EYEZ!!

Dudu was back! And absofuckinglutely awesome! His touch and playing was magical, everything he did seemed to lead right at the goal and it was just a joy to watch him play again. In your face to my asshole of a brother who said that Dudu wouldn't be good when he came back because he was out for so long. Dudu was pure magic. I teared up- and I bet every other Arsenal supporter did too- when he scored the first goal, making it look so effortless. *tears* Oh Dudu, it's awesome to have you back! And he got himself a penalty too, which he took very eagerly. Go Dudu!!

Oh my Nicky baby. You is so younnnggg. It's games like these where you see his immaturity and lack of discipline-seeing his two rather violent charges and the almost comical misses. And yet you still see his potential for me with that lovely little run in during the corner and making a fool out of the dude who was supposed to mark him. Keep going Nicky baby. :DD

Vela and Nasri were awesome wingers! Vela was another one with a brilliant touch and brilliant vision. Wow. It was fantastic to see football of the calibre of Walcott and Cesc being played out there by the younger players. It felt so fucking good, it was worth waking up early and feeling stoned the whole of today! XDD

Oooh Robin! He finally gets the goal he's been deserving for so fucking long. Gosh Robin. You is amazing and I am glad for you! You deserved that goal and so so so much more.

Denilson and Song had a good game, they made some brilliant moves but still made a few silly mistakes and sloppy passes, but I'm happy! Sagna was Sagna. You cannot take that away from him. He's awesomeness too. Gallas and Toure, solid, tight and alert defending which is awesome to see again. I was impressed with Kieran Gibbs. He did a pretty good job of keeping Burke out of action. I saw Burke make only one vaguely good move befoe it was snuffed out. And he made some pretty good overlapping runs with Vela, which is always a good sign. Gotta live up to Clichy's standard man. Keep going little one!

We saw a little of Amaury Bischoff, in fact too little I'm not sure what to make of him just yet. Umm. Oh! Lukasz Fabianski as usual, sharp goalkeeping, always on his toes. I take my hat off to the Crdiff keeper. If not for his solid goalkeeping, I think Cardiff fans would be even more embarrassed and upset. United will be proud of you Heaton.

Such a good game! >_< It was hard not to cheer and scream at 5.50 in the morning.
